Kurt went around the room, making sure that they had picked everything up, more him than Sebastian of course, because his beauty products alone took a good chunk of his suitcase. They had early breakfast that morning, together with the family that was still there to see them off, and it was nice and warm. After he zipped his bag closed, he looked up at Sebastian and smiled. “Ready, baby?”
Sebastian nodded with a soft sigh, “we just got here. Less than three days ago we were arriving. I wish I could stay longer,” he admitted, before shaking his head and picking up his suitcase. He gave Kurt a small smile, “you know, I almost didn’t come. Leading up to it. I thought about not coming, it’d be easier to stay in New York. Glad we did though.” They headed down the stairs and loaded up the car that they had picked up from the hire place earlier in the morning. He turned to face Maggie, Toby and Steph and grinned, “thanks for having us. We’ll visit again… next time for longer?” There were hugs shared by all five of them, promises that yes they would be back and yes they would get copies of the photos from the wedding. Sebastian never felt closer to his family before. After a decent time spent saying goodbye, Sebastian turned to Kurt, “I guess we better get going, huh? Got a 4 hour drive in front of us, and we want to surprise your Dad before it gets dark.”
Look, baby! Someone took a candid photo of us! :D
Kurt inhaled deeply as he slowly woke up for the second time that morning, and was happy to take in all the manly scent that was Sebastian. Second time because, just at the crack of dawn, they had woken up with a bit of a ‘hard’ situation, and so they managed to flip around in bed and, as quietly as possible, enjoyed a heated, and half sleepy 69 session. After they were done, they fell asleep into each other’s arms, Kurt’s favorite part, and now they startedto wake up again. Kurt kissed the spot over Sebastian’s heart and looked up smiling. “Morning, early bird.”
Sebastian groaned, keeping his eyes shut, “ngg. I demand more sleep,” he said groggily, though peeking an eye open to look down at Kurt. “What time is it?” He muttered, returning Kurt’s smile.
Kurt walked out of the bathroom carrying his handbag, after checking that all his beauty products were in it. Four days was an awful amount of time for being without it, especially with his delicate, pale skin. He then checked his suitcase and also made sure that all the necessary pants, shirts, undershirt, socks and briefs were in it too, then walked to the closet to get the suits they had chosen for the event. As discussed, they were going to be classic black, with a detail on the ties. He took a deep breath as he made one more check at things, wanting to make sure that everything would be perfect. The idea of being sort of oficially introduced to the Smythe family both thrilled and scared him. “Baby? Is your suitcase ready? Are you ready?” He chuckled, then checked the time. They still had two hours before they had to be at the airport.
Sebastian: “Yeah,” Sebastian called back, from where he was sitting on the couch, “all done!” He was flicking through the channels on the tv, knowing they had a couple of hours before they had to be there (though that meant leaving in an hour or so, just so they knew for sure they’d be there on time) but, after finding nothing good on, switched it off and stood up, walking into their bedroom where their suitcases were sitting on the bed, and Kurt was looking over them. He leaned against the door frame with a smile, “you nervous?”
Sebastian looked around his room, which was empty save for the furniture and the stack of boxes in the corner. The small stack, he didn’t exactly have much here because he’d never bothered bringing much to college and that was all he had when he moved to New York. It was mostly clothes and books. Cassie was still planning on living here for a few more weeks, given her and Paul were looking for a place of their own, instead of moving into an already existing apartment. But when she left she wasn’t taking much of the furniture anyway, unless her and Paul particularly liked something, they were just planning on donating it to Goodwill. He looked around for a second longer, before starting to move the boxes out of his room and into the car he’d hired out for the day.
Kurt was hyperactive that day, running around the apartment and trying to get everything clean and ready for when Sebastian arrived. His boyfriend was to be his roommate now. And that was an exciting and also scaring notion all together, because it was a huge step forward in their relationship. Ther relationship. It sometimes made Kurt to smile fondly. Given their rather tumultuous beginning, it was quite the wonder how they were at that point at that moment. But there was nothing Kurt would want more, and he was going to make his best to make it work. He cleaned a huge space in his closet, and also cleared several drawers for Sebastian’s belongings, then moved the clothes that he didn’t wear all the time to the other room, while he also made a nice salad and a plate of cheese and crackers to receive his now roommate.
Don’t we look dashing? Me the most, of course ;)
I wish I could wake up in your arms every day, baby…
I love you.
Sebastian turned to Kurt and grinned as they exited the plane after landing at the airport in Las Vegas, “ready to get drunk, party hard and pretend you’re still in college?” He’d teased Kurt before about going on Spring Break despite not being a student but considering Sebastian was the one who suggested Kurt and he go, it was all in gest.
Kurt looked at him from under the rim of his glasses and chuckled. “Well, tecnically you’re still at college, so I guess it applies for you.” He chuckled, then walked along beside him, their suitcases in hand. “Regardess, this was an amazing idea, Bas. I’ve never been to Las Vegas! Although I wouldn’t be holding my breath on the getting drunk bit on my part, you know?” He shook his head. “I’m a terrible drunk, or so I’ve been told.”
